BWISE Social Media & Marketing Internship
Black Women Instilling Scholarly Excellence is a 501c3 non-profit organization that aims to embolden the academic and professional potential of young women of color across the country. We are in search of a talented, driven, and creative young female designer to work with our organization in the role of a social media and marketing intern.
The intern will need to think outside of the box, push the envelope, make waves, and draw attention! She will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the organization by raising awareness through various social media platforms. The duties will include but are not limited to planning social media calendars, managing our online presence, creating social media posts & content, assisting with brainstorming campaigns.
This is a remote position that allows the intern to work at their own pace but requires self-disciple and excellent time management. The position lasts for the months of October, November, & December of 2021 with the possibility of extending into 2022 based on performance.

Requirements
- Current undergraduate student majoring in business, marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations
- Previous experience in social media management on all platforms
- Previous experience with Google Analytics
- Previous experience with Search Engine Optimization
- Previous experience generating unique marketing campaigns and marketing strategies
